Rachal Mercado

I believe life itself is art and thru the experience of being alive I am driven create. I have made things since I was a child my first inspiration was my father who did pen and ink and wrote poetry. I have explored many mediums in the last couple of years. My main mode of expression has been thru alcohol ink. I love the free move to of the ink which also has a opaque and ethereal quality it reminds me of dreams and the subconscious mind. Emotions and ideas are fluid and remind me that imperfection is beautiful.
